Hey you guys, Mike from Prague here...... It was snowing in Kiev when we were all together at the 'backkpackers hostel'.... Since then, winter has been held at bay (at least here in Prague).

Hopefully you are puttin on some good miles, and havin fun under some warm weather.

I'm living in Bursa and able to help you while drawing your route on your journey from north to the south of Turkiye. I did Izmir - Bursa, Afyon - Antalya, Bursa - Eskisehir trips in different years. 2 weeks ago I met with two danish cyclist who were going to Nepal to climb a 6000'er - Island Peak. Actually they were not from couch surfing, but I saw them they were riding into the city and blocked their way with my skoda. And I learned that they will attempt a mountain in Nepal. They were inspired by great Göran Kropp. So you understand what I mean. We need to catch up guys. I will glad to provide you with hosting and anything else that I can do.

I visited your web page, it was real good. We are building web sites in Bursa with my brother Dogus, and managing the best portal for restaurants, hotels and cafes locally.

Just read about your trip from our national newspaper, so another entry for "In the media" -page.
(Helsingin Sanomat 2.10. "Suomen maanteiltä Sudanin aavikoilla", which would translate to something like "From Finnish roads to Sudanese deserts").

Another interesting addition, at least for other biker travellers, to your webpage would be a list of all the equipment you have with you..
